How to remove background noise from calls on a Mac

How do I know it works before a real call?
The Test screen records ten seconds, including a couple of seconds of room tone, and plays Original and Cleaned with one cursor. Switch while it plays.
Which setting do I change in my calling app?
Microphone → DeNoise Microphone. For the other side, Speaker → DeNoise Speaker, and choose your real output inside DeNoise.
Will it cut my voice?
The Strength control trades suppression for naturalness. Start on the default and lower it if your voice sounds thin.
What about echo?
DeNoise removes noise, not echo. Keep your calling app's echo cancellation on; the two work together.
