How to route app audio into Zoom on a Mac
Create a Route virtual device, add the app as a source (with Mute original on if you only want it in the call), then choose that device as the microphone in Zoom. Add a monitor so you still hear it yourself.
| Admin password | Once, at Audio Engine install |

| Restart | No |
| Zoom setting | Microphone → your Route device |
| Hear it yourself | Add a monitor |
How do I make a virtual device?
Open Route, press New Device, give it a name like Zoom Feed. It appears instantly in every app's audio menus as both an input and an output.
How do I send an app into it?
Add a source, pick the app, and connect its channels in the matrix. Mute original keeps the sound from also playing on your speakers.
Why do I not hear it?
A device feeds other apps, not your ears. Add a monitor to your headphones or interface.
What if I only need a cable?
A device with no sources is a plain loopback, and that part of Route is free forever, even without a trial.
Try Route free for 14 days.

Can my own voice be in the same device?
Yes. Add your microphone as a second source and both reach Zoom as one input.
